Freelance Work
These are 3D models I have made and published on BlenderKit for use in larger projects. They are all available free for personal and commercial use, with attribution appreciated but not required.
Electrical Components
I modeled this series of electrical outlets initially for my own
personal use in photorealistic visualization projects, and they were
what I used in my Residential Space Planning
project and the Basic Outlet and Switch tool. They were modeled in Blender and textured in Quixel Mixer, and
are available for download free from my page on BlenderKit.
Arch Trellis
A simple arched trellis with green beans/wax beans that I made in Blender for a school project. The asset (green beans variation) is posted on BlenderKit for free. The wax bean variation can be derived by changing the color of the green bean material to a pale yellow.
These are a series of PBR materials I published for use in 3D scenes and renders. They're published on BlenderKit, but the image textures can be used in most render engines and modeling software. These are free for personal and commercial use, with attribution appreciated but not required. These are organized with my oldest on the bottom and the newest on the top.
Beige Zion Stone
I processed this stone material from photographs of rock formations taken in Zion National Park using GIMP and Blender
Grey Zion Stone
Like the beige stone material, this was processed from photographs of rock formations taken in Zion National Park using GIMP and Blender.
Dead Grass
This tiling material features dead, dry grass. It was processed from a photograph using GIMP and Blender.
Lush Grass
This grass material is tileable and was processed from a photograph using GIMP and Blender.
Dirty Cobblestones
This is a tiling cobblestone material with patchy grass and dirt. The shape and color of the cobblestones and dirt patches was created and baked in Blender, and the grass placement was hand-painted in Quixel Mixer.
Large Aggregate Concrete
This is a tiling material of large aggregate concrete. I processed this from a photograph using GIMP, Krita, and Blender.
Windmill Tiles
This is a tile material in a windmill pattern. It's repeatable and suited for a semi-stylized scene or render. The textures were drawn in Krita.
Soldiered Tiles
This is a tile material in a pattern I believe is called soldiered. I created this texture in Krita, and it's best suited to a somewhat stylized scene or render.
Herringbone
This is a tileable, semi-realistic wood floor material in a herringbone pattern. This is the first digital material I made, and was entirely hand-drawn in Krita.
Herringbone
This is another tileable, semi-realistic wood floor material in a different herringbone pattern. This was the second digital material I made and like the first, was entirely hand-drawn in Krita.
These are a series of tools I built in Blender Geometry Nodes for Architecture and Architecture-related projects. They are free for personal and commercial use with attribution appreciated but not required.
Basic Window Generator
The Basic Window Generator is a design process tool designed for Architectural projects in Blender; intended to enable quick and easy design iteration and to provide a preview of how a window configuration will look in a space. It works by generating a fully procedural window mesh based on user-input dimensions and settings.
Basic Outlet and Switch Tool
The Basic Outlet and Switch Tool is a Geometry Nodes based tool designed for Architectural projects in Blender; intended
to enable quick and easy generation and placement of basic US-style outlets and switches. It works by instancing modular components to create a unit with up to 10 outlets or switches of the same type, complete with screws and wallplates. All modular components have baked PBR texture sets and are render-ready.
Basic Door Generator
The Basic Door Generator is a design process tool designed for
Architectural projects in Blender. Built on Geometry Nodes, the tool
works through a modifier and creates procedural door meshes and their
corresponding plan-view symbols based on user-input dimensions and
settings. It is intended to enable quick and easy design iteration and
to provide a preview of how a door will look in a space. All doors can
be animated with a built-in slider.
Basic Cabinet Generator
The Basic Cabinet Generator is a design process tool designed for Architectural projects in Blender. Built on Geometry Nodes, the tool works through a modifier and creates procedural cabinet meshes and their corresponding plan-view symbols based on user-input dimensions and settings. It is intended to enable quick and easy iteration when designing a kitchen or bathroom scene and to provide a preview of how a cabinet configuration will look in a space.
These are a series of tools I built in Blender Geometry Nodes for Architecture and Architecture-related projects. They will be available on ArtStation following the closed beta for personal and commercial use with attribution appreciated but not required.
Outlet and Switch Tool
The Outlet and Switch Tool enables easy configuration and
placement of
electrical outlets and switches, along with a selection of bonus
accessories. The tool includes a modular kit of render-quality parts
with baked PBR texture sets and one basic emission shader - and can make
what I've calculated to be over 1,000 possible accessory configurations (not counting different color and material options) and supports up to ten different accessories per unit.
Basic animation settings are built-in for every operable switch,
slider, and rotary component, and all lights can be turned on and off in
the modifier.
